  • Who is Professor Y?

    Inventor, scientist, and billionaire, Professor Y is the enigmatic owner and creator of the YummyWorks Astrofactory.
     

  • What is a VIC?

    VIC stands for Virtual Interactive Collectible, a downloadable 3D creature you can play with on your desktop.  VIC’s are fully interactive with ragdoll physics and customizable with various different skin choices called Gear Packs, Members can collect and switch between VIC’s.
     

  • Is there any Spyware in YummyWorks toys?

    Absolutely not.  We DO NOT include any spyware in our toys. They are 100% SAFE and SPYWARE FREE.
     

  • What are the optimal system requirements needed to play with a VIC?

    VIC’s run on Windows OS system. (Apple is coming soon!)  The optimal system requirements are: 1.5ghz 1Gig Ram, and video card manufactured in the last 3 years
     

  • Will VIC’s slow down my computer or interfere with any other programs I'm running?

    No. VIC’s are built to run seamlessly with minimal system resource consumption so feel free to keep your VIC open (to keep you company) while you work on your system. (VIC's sit on top of all applications by default).
     

  • What do I do with my VIC?

    Do whatever you want with him he’s your toy!  Feed him, put him to sleep, make him exercise, and he obeys the laws of gravity (or not). Also, if tossed he will tumble into ragdoll.  Use collider objects to make some serious impact on him!
     

  • Are there any more VIC’s on the way besides Higgs?

    Currently, Higgs is the only VIC available from the Sparticle clans.  Boson and Quark will be released in the next build
     

  • What are Gear Packs?

    Gear Packs contain skins that will change the appearance of your VIC.  Each Gear Pack contains three color variations of a skin.
     

  • What are Emo Packs?

    Emo Packs are a collection of customizable animations that give your VIC’s a wider assortment of emotions and unique personalities.
     

  • What are Colliders?

    Colliders are objects that can be manually placed on your desktop and interacted with by your VIC.
     

  • What is the Micro-Agglomerator?

    The Micro-Agglomerator is a miniature version of Professor Y's Agglomerator. It allows you to create your own skins, colliders and animations. (You can even sell them in the Y-Store). It will be available for download with the next build release
     

  • Can I make my own Gear, Colliders or Emo Packs?

    You can create and sell your own Gear, Colliders or Emo Packs using the Micro-Agglomerator.  This is a miniature version of Professor Y's Agglomerator.  It will be available for download with the next build release.
     

  • How do I make animations for my VIC’s?

    In order to make animations you need to download the Toy Pack and create your own animations in 3D software, You can then use the Micro-Agglomerator to export these as EmoPacks.  More details to follow.
     

  • Who is Leslie Ludman?

    Leslie Ludman is the Host and News Director for YummyWorks Studios, the only news broadcast stationed aboard the YummyWorks Astrofactory.
     

  • How do I uninstall a YummyWorks VIC?

    To uninstall a YummyWorks VIC such as Sparticles, use the following steps:

    1. Quit Sparticles.

    2. Go to Start | Programs | YummyWorks | Sparticles | Uninstall Sparticles.

    3. Follow the prompts.

    4. When finished, click "Finish".

    5. After the uninstall is complete, some files might remain in the directory where you installed the VIC. These files can be safely deleted manually.

    Or you can go to Control Panel\Add or Remove Programs. You should find Sparticles. Then click change/remove. It should solve the problem.
