WELCOME
WELCOME ABOARD!
You're now onboard the amazing YummyWorks Astrofactory in geosynchronous orbit around Earth! Professor Y, the enigmatic founder of YummyWorks designed the Astrofactory along with the 10,000 mile space elevator by which it is connected to reach into other universes and dimensions in order to download the quantum properties of mysterious life forms. When you become a member of YummyWorks, we hope you can help Professor Y do the following:
2) Research them and report back their many unique behaviours and appearances to Professor Y.
3) Care for them because they have come a long way to get to this universe.
4) Play with them because they like to have fun!
As Professor Y continues to import data from the multiverse not only will the amount of new visitors increase, the existing life forms now here will grow more and more complex for their owners!
The Astrofactory is home to hundreds of dedicated crew members and amazing technological devices such as the Agglomerator that can reach into other universes and dimensions in order to download the quantum properties of mysterious life forms. The multiverse life form properties are then reassembled and offered to YummyWorks members as downloadable virtual pets such as the Sparticles.
Strung between its anchor on Earth (an abandoned oil platform north of the Isle of Capri) and the YummyWorks Astrofactory-- its counterweight in space-- the YummyWorks Space Elevator is the only one of its kind in the world. The key to the space elevator is the 10,000 mile super strong ribbon that connects the Astrofactory to the oil platform. Professor Y and his team have perfected a ribbon containing carbon nanotubes called Strenua (nearly as thin as a human hair!). Strenua can be spun out at infinite length to achieve the connection from oil platform to space-based Astrofactory. To achieve the connection, Strenua is first wound into a giant spool that Professor Y sends by spacecraft into orbit. When the spacecraft reaches the correct altitude Strenua is unspooled and sent down to the oil platform where it is attached.

FUNCTION
FUNCTION
The Astrolab's main function is the exploration of undiscovered universes and hidden dimensions. Professor Y's cutting edge technology includes mysterious, ethereal mega computers composed of bent space and structured energy along with other infrastructure needed for high energy multidimensional physics research. Beside the exploration work, numerous top secret experiments have been constructed at the Astrofactory by Professor Y and his staff. It is also noted for being the birthplace of several unique inventions including emotive clothing, finger food replicators, as well as plants that play music. The historic first multiversal quantum data discovery by Professor Y was on June 12, 2009. The location was the indescribably small 8th dimension and comprising the enigmatic beings known as Sparticles.

SPECIFICATIONS
SPECIFICATIONS
The sheer size of the YummyWorks Astrofactory is a technological marvel as well as an exceptional engineering success story. The Astrofactory is composed of 15 crew decks and an overall length of 420 meters. There is a rotating crew compliment of 450 members and an approximate habitual deck area of 220,00 square feet. The Astrofactory contains two docking ports, 6 personnel shuttle pods and 40 emergency escape pods holding 12 crew members each. Security systems are confidential, but it's thought the Astrofactory contains two single turret photon cannons.
GETTING THERE
GETTING THERE
Access to the top secret Astrofactory requires several highly complicated clearances and reserved only for YummyWorks employees and invited guests. Details about precise directions to the Earth-based part of the Astrofactory are confidential, but in general terms, getting to the YummyWorks Astrofactory, requires taking a private ferry 30 miles north of the Isle of Capri near Italy to a refurbished offshore oil platform. Acting as an anchor on Earth, the platform is connected to the astrofactory above by a high tech, immensely strong ribbon called Strenua. Visitors then ascend 10,000 miles straight up in Beanstalk 1 or 2, the world's only space elevator.

BEAN STALK
BEANSTALK
The Beanstalk lifters are 30 person sleepers with lots of amenities including: panoramic viewing upstairs, a formal dining room, boardroom for meetings, retro lounge with satellite TV and complete bar.

PROF. Y's OFFICE
PROF. Y's OFFICE
Located near the top of the Astrofactory, Professor Y’s office is built on a rotating axis with a 180 view of space. His computers are all voice activated and communication devices show current state of global news headlines, and contacts on Earth. He especially loves his gravity balance office chair with mini refrigerator built right into the arm rest.

CAFETERIAS
CAFETERIAS
There are five separate cafeterias each with its own design scheme and food including organic café, sports bar, super snack bistro and farmers’ market. Most popular menu items include Astro Cheese Fries, Y-Melts and Planck Pudding Pops.

CREW LIVING QUARTERS
CREW QUARTERS
Comfortable and spacious, the crew living quarters are loaded with extra amenities such as a multimedia area, kitchen facilities, laundry room, zero g sauna and of course, amazing views.
